Howdy Y'all! I originate from good ole Texas and moved up to North Carolina with my father when my parents divorced. I am the middle child of three girls and can guarantee you I was the worst one! In my previous marriage I lived in Hawaii for a couple of years and was able to meet some great people. I helped care for my father until the day God needed him more. (R.I.P.12/20/11) Just before his passing I met a man, his name is Cory and he is now my husband! He helped me through all my pain and turned my life around. Cory has a son who I couldn't adore more when we do get him around. Cory's parents are the best in-laws in the world I could have ever asked for! I love them to death! We have 3 fur-babies, Re-Re (chi/ter mix, black/white, 6 y/o), JJ (chi/ter mix, tan/white, 6 y/o), & Stark (Pit, grey/white, 1 y/o)! My life lines are the best 4 females anyone could ask for my sisters! I love you Sheila, Tanya, Amanda, & Sam. I have had PCOS or Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome since before I was 16, that's just when I was diagnosed. My weight has fluctuated my whole life. largest was 250 lbs and lowest 170 lbs. I had an amazing job as a professional Nanny and miss it very much. Why you ask? On Feb. 21st at 4:30 am I got a life altering call. My husband was involved in a training accident. He is a 13Bravo AKA Cannon Crew Member. The M777 blew them up. One died and another was severely injured. Several had what he Army considers minor injuries, to me they were anything but. My husband suffered from a brain bleed, broken right forearm, neck spine fracture at the C6, amputation above the knee on the right, amputation below the knee on his left, and blindness in both eyes. We consider ourselves lucky, it could have been worse!

DeleteMichelle, I enjoy reading your posts so much! I know you have moved to Texas and are kept pretty busy with appointments, and the last thing I want to do is bother Cory with a phone call from his PL. But I want you to know that I follow you on the blog, and just about every day at work you guys are mentioned and everyone shares their latest tid bit of information on how you both are doing, whether its something read online, a phone call, or sometimes something we here on the news. You and Cory are still in our prayers and are not forgotten back at B Battery. I hope you both continue to do well and progress in Texas, we all can't wait to have you both back here in North Carolina.
