Today was a pretty awesome day again!
The small switch up in Cory's meds has a huge difference in pain tolerance!
They switched his morphine to methadone.
Which has a longer shelf life in your body.
Let me tell you he only got 2-3 IV's of Dilaudid which is a HUGE improvement in itself.
They are already talking about fitting him with a sleeve to cast him for a socket for a leg! (left)
We are beyond excited about that!!!
Today I was able to get my paper work done for my MMA.
Basically if all goes according to plan I will get paid to be Cory's caretaker since I no longer have a job.
That would be fantastic!
All of his appointments went great today and he worked his little tush off.
This is what tmw will look like for us...
I love that they post these for us every evening so we can plan for the next day.
I get there about 7ish and get him ready for the day.
(fed and dressed by 8)
looks like he will only get to eat his snack for lunch tmw tho
(they send him a tuna sandwich and Gatorade around 10)
Lunch comes in around noon but he will be missing that tmw
Dinner normal comes anywhere from 5-6
I get him ready for the night after and leave to do my stuff.
like laundry or gym.
then bed.
